The tan girl heard the gate creak as it was opened and closed. She continued trotted around for a bit as she heard a compliment ring out from across the inside arena. "Thanks." The girl, Rianna replied. She slowed him down to a walk as she let him have a break. She hoped he'd pick up his correct lead. Rafe had a tendency to counter canter with out being asked which was advanced stuff for a horse especially for a five year old. She let him walk a bit to cool him down before she asked him canter. She noticed the blond girl with a palomino. She asked him for a canter which she got. She made him get around the corner by supporting him with her outside leg. She slowed him down back into a trot as she sat it before she eventually asked him for a walk. He tossed his head fighting her a bit resisting to walk. Rianna asked again and he obeyed.

Rianna called out to the girl. "She's cute." She said. Rafe meanwhile tossed his head again as he tried to canter. He got a couple strides before she pulled him back down and scolded him. He should know better then that. He was five but still a baby almost. He was half Saddlebred and Andalusian. Horses generally take a long time to mature. Rianna asked him for a halt which he gave and she then asked him to walk again. Which he did gladly almost. Rafe loved to go. She turned him around in a tear drop turn as she worked the other side. She asked him for a canter and then once they got around the corner to a trot and then walk. She wanted to warm him up evenly on both sides before she did the pattern. She walked him for a bit before asking for a halt and then a walk. He was now warmed up. He moved off of the rail but Rianna used her inside leg and got him back on the rail.

Rianna let him on a loose rein to walk around a bit more. His head lowered to a lower position then the one it had been in recently. She smiled. He had done good so far the time he was ridden. Then again he wasn't jumping. She asked him for a canter again as she cut across a little bit after the middle. She switched her legs and asked with her new outside leg as he did a flying lead change. She praised him and let him go back into a walk.

Personality:
Rianna is a very kind and loving person. She loves horses and will stand up for them if someone knocks them down. She is shy however and that makes her an easy target for bullying. She is silent about it thougha nd normally her friends are the ones who say something about it or they go with her to say something about it. Even then though they are the ones doing most of the talking with her piping in with a detail or two or a comment about it. She never wants anyone to get hurt about it though. She is annoyed though someitmes and when she is she can sware about it. Most of the time though she just ignores them and rolls her eyes but sometimes they annoy her so much that she just kind of blows up at them but it doeesn't happen often. She has a scheldule and sticks to it. She makes enough time to do her homework,make dinner,ride hert horse, read a book or two or more and have enough time still left in her schedule for open time if something pops up that she's invited to. She can be excluded sometimes but her friends always tell her about it or the gossip or whatever it was that she was excluded from.

History:
She was born in Jackson, Michigan. When she was 5 she got her first dog a black trie Australian Shepard anmed Newton. On July 4 2008 Newton died from a heart attack on July 4. Rianna got another dog though named Hans. Hans was a Germen Shepard. She had her first horse since she 2. She was on a horse before she could walk. She rode her Morgan mare Bonbon untill she was in 8th grade. When she was in 8th grade that was her last show season with Bonbon. From then she trained a buckskin Andalusian Saddlebred cross named Rafe. Now Rafe can jump do dressage and huntseat,saddleseat and western as well. She sent in her application to Blue Ridge. It was sent back in a letter that said she been accepted. Rianna has always gotten A's in school doing her home work and extra credit projects as soon as she got them even finishing them all in one day if there may be two days to them. Her being shy as it says in her history she has been bullied a little. Normally though she doesn't tell anyone about it and normally it's her friends who get her to tell someone about it or they come with her to tell the teacher or someone about it. Though normally with that the friend has always told everyone with her piping in a comment or two or detail or two. When she got it she screamed and almost fainted she was so happy. When she was 12 her family moved from Jackson,Michigan to Kentucky. Rianna loved it there. She wasn't bullied there but was instead in on all the gossip. Her mom started an equestrian team. Ally used Bonbon for that show season as well as her seventh grade show season as well. She didn't mind that she was hours away from all her friends in Michigan. She actually felt accepted in school by people. She poured her heart into her studies as she wants to be a vet. Her family life was pretty good. Her parents loved her and she was a single child. It got a little boring being the only kid in the house but she spent a lot of time riding, chores at the barn and homework. When summer came Rianna spent evwen more time at barn and reading books. When school began again Rianna and her friends all hatwed their midle school. Luckily thought it was only for seventh grade and eigth grade. The time flew by and soon Rianna was graduating from Middle school. During the summer her parents talked to her about filling out an application for some schools. She tried it and filled out many applications. One of them was to Foxtail Creek which was right in Kentucky. Many of her applications came back that they already had enough students. She wasn't broken hearted but it put a damper on her as Foxtail Creek weas the only one who hadn't replied back to her application. Finally on a hot Augest day:Augest second to be exact her application came back from Foxtail Creek. She pulled iout the letter quickly on the table. She read it wuickly and would have screamed to her parents that she got accepted if her parents had been there. They were at a friend's party. When they got home Rianna showed them the letter. Her dad read it over super fast. He was a lawyer. He showed it to her mom who hugged her. They said they were so proud of her. Rianna got a letter in the mail of what she needed for her school. She had gotten a new backpack and several new notebooks and folders and all thsat stuff. As a present for getting accepted at Foxtail Creek her parents gave her a brand new laptop and her mom gave her Rafe who she had been training for her mom to use a lesson horse or a spare horse. Rianna was overjoyed. Bonbon had been getting up there and wouldn't do the best at showing.Her parents had also gotten a blue merle male who she named Newton. Her first dog had been named that and was used to it so she couldn't change it. Her blue merle however could adapt to a different name so she named him Newton in memory of her first dog.
