Welcome to the July Contest! This time around I am giving you the ability to create items for the shop where you can spend your hard earned coins, but don't get too ahead of yourself, there are some rules.
001: Items for "auto win competitions" or anything along those lines will not be accepted.
002: Do not copy someone else. Please read everyone's posts before submitting your own.
003: Unless you are editing an item, all new submissions must go in a new post. This will not count against you, it's just a way for me to keep track of things.
004: Play nice with others and be creative with your items, but don't be afraid to put forth every day items either. The is a quality, not quantity contest. Yes, the more you submit, the better chances you have of placing.
So, what do you get for your prizes?
1st place - 400 Coins AND 1 of each item you submitted.
2nd place - 300 Coins AND 1 of a half of the items you submitted (if you submit 6, you'll get 3)
3rd place - 200 Coins AND 1 of the items your submitted.
Entering - 1 of each item valued at and under 75 coins. (Value is decided by staff when the store is put together)
To enter, simply reply to this thread with the item's name and what it does. This contest will end JULY 31ST. |

Expensive item numero uno: extra horse to the five max
Others stuff:
- custom housing plan
- customized foal stats
--pick gender, color, unusual markings, best/worst discipline, tempermant ect.
Also, if we continue to do lessons, perhaps, if you miss out on signing up, you can purchase a spot?

Stables
Once reaching a post limit of say 80? The character has an option to buy a stable. Here they get their own board, with sub boards ( a maximum of 5- can be brought from the shop). Here players can board their horses for a fee- pays the character owning the stable. But, so players are inclined to do this rather than free board elsewhere. The more they pay to board horses gains them a certain % discount in the shop, and access to exclusive content owned by that stable. Such as privet lessons, arena, stabling ect:
Because of the stable boards also come jobs, each stable can give out jobs to other players giving them too a chance to earn money going by posts. Each post within a stable board gets them a wage/pay.
Wild Horse
Players can buy a wild horse to either play and interact via posts with tame horses, or start a herd with others. Every month a competition can be held, where players get the chance to catch a wild horse. If successfully caught, the player owning the wild horse (if agreed) can become broken by the new owner, or kept in the wild and visited by the winner.
Breeding Pass
Allows the player to breed their horse for free (this would be a one item available per month item)

what about twins when you breed your horse, with guaranteed good health for both foals?

good jumps- once a player reaches a high amount of posts {in the 50/60
s range} they have an option to pick 'good jumps' which grants their horse immunity of injuries for a couple months, so no tripping/falling can harm them.
accessories- a horse can get accessories, so a bandana they can even wear in competitions.
dipped- a horse gets a colour of choice at the ends of their mane. so maybe orange, green or so.

- NEW AREA: Creating a new area in Harrisbury
- ENTRY PASS: For each one purchased, you can enter your horse in one more event than the regular three. Only valid for one use on one horse. You might also want to limit the number of these available to buy per week.
- STARTER HORSE: - should be quite expensive. I am unsure whether this is actually a good idea or not, but maybe there should be the option to buy a new horse which is already ranked as "junior" in an event of your choice.
- CUSTOM LINEART: - I'm unsure if you'll agree to this, but perhaps you could start charging points for a custom lineart? Just an idea.
- COLOURFUL NAME: A coloured/bold/italic/whatever display name
