Full Description:
Gabe has medium length, light brown hair which bleaches slightly in the summertime. He rocks the fresh-outta-bed look for the most part, but has been known to slick it back on occasion. His eyes are a relatively dark blue, scattered with blue-grey flecks around his pupil. His eyebrows are thick, and a little darker than his hair. A small amount of stubble is normal for him, but not because he's too lazy to shave - it's more a way of combating the slightly babyish nature of his face. Standing at 6"2, Gabe is quite tall, and he is well muscled due to his busy lifestyle.

Disabilities:
Gabe is an alcoholic, although he is in complete and utter denial of the fact.

Personality:
Throughout his life, Gabe has been expected to be strong. His upbringing meant that he was often his younger brother's only guardian, and this led to him developing into the person that he is today. Due to the fact that he was constantly reassuring his little brother, yet never being reassured himself, he is incredibly reluctant to open up to people about his feelings. Vulnerability is something that he never wishes to portray, and he believes confiding in others to be a sign of this. Despite his big-man façade, Gabe fosters an incredible amount of securities; one of his biggest fears is inadequacy.

Gabe can be selfish and selfless in the same breath, but will do anything to protect his loved ones. This often turns out to be his Achilles heel; people know how fiercely he loves those that are close to him, and sometimes use this to hurt him. Gabe is a compulsive womaniser, and can't help but appreciate a good looking woman. His lifestyle means that he rarely settles in one place for long, and he hasn't had a serious relationship in a long, long time. One night stands and broken promises of calling in the morning are more his forte. However, it should be noted that - should Gabe ever find someone that he is entirely compatible with - he would completely surrender his old ways, and devote himself to that one woman.

Gabe finds humour in places which other people might find inappropriate. He doesn't do so out of rudeness; it's more due to the fact that it's embedded in him to make light of serious situations, a habit he gained when reassuring his little brother.

History:
Gabe's life took a dramatic turn after his mother died. He and his younger brother were left to be raised by their father, who - although he loved them dearly - wasn't exactly the maternal type. His job meant that the boys had to move around a lot, staying in different, cheap motels every few nights, so their school life was incredibly unsettled. They rarely stayed in the same school for more than a month or two, which meant that they missed out on making friends, and any they did make they had to leave behind. Gabe was determined to be whatever his father needed him to be, and wanted nothing more than his praise. Gabe wasn't sheltered like his little brother; he was expected to be the anchor, an additional adult in the household even when he was still just a boy.

Gabe's time at high school was unsettled and incredibly difficult. To begin with, he was incredibly studious, and caught up on anything he missed at home. As time passed, he became less and less bothered with succeeding in school - largely due to the fact that he was looking after his brother and moving from motel to motel - and started failing classes. His end of year grades were mediocre, despite the fact that he was quite intelligent, and he left school to focus on training to be a police officer.

Personality: Wayward is as feisty as they come. If you sit on him on a bad day, you'd better to hope to hell that you've got a good seat. His behaviour isn't necessarily nasty; he's just a typical stallion. A bit like Gabe, he's a testosterone fuelled machine, and is an even bigger show off.
History: Gabe bought Wayward entirely on a whim. He knew a little about horses, and knew how to ride, but other than that he was entirely clueless. After taking a wrong turn on his way to a job interview, he ended up at a horse auction. He exited the auction with a 2 year old colt that he hadn't got a clue how to deal with.

Wayward and Gabe learnt their lessons together. All of their knowledge sprouted as they learned from mistakes they each made, and gradually the duo began to improve. Now, Gabe's hoping to start competing with Wayward, and their performance so far is looking incredibly promising.
