Country music blasts through the speakers of a 2011 F250, the dark blue paint reflecting beautifully against the suns rays. A girl with long blonde hair sits in the driver's seat, the faded brown highlights glowing with the subtle red tint from the sun. This girls name was Jade Donnell, a conservative, yet sly and sneaky woman. A very unique type of person as most had said in the past.
The dirty looks didn't bother Jade one bit, she would blast her country music as she loud as she wanted, who was anyone to judge her based off the type of music she listened to? They knew nothing about her personally, and she frankly didn't care to get to know any of the people that judged her from the start. She pulled into a parking lot, next to a tiny little bug and stepped out of her truck. The cowboy boots made a loud and dusty thud on the hot pavement, her jeans dirty from today's work. Jade had came directly from visiting her gelding, since she hadn't seen the point of wasting gas to drive all the way home and all the way back since the mall was closer to the barn than Jade's house.
She walked into the food court and went to the closest food place, which happened to be a McDonalds. Eh. Not her favorite, but she was starving and she was too lazy to walk all the way to the other side of the food court. She ordered some chicken nuggets and a small Sprite, which she finished in 10 minutes. She threw her food away and got up to go take a look around the mall and hopefully find something tasteful that would catch her eye. Jade meandered around for 15 or 20 minutes until she came across a True Religion store - one of her favorite brands. She scanned through the racks, grabbing jeans that she liked here and there, frowning at the prices, but knowing that she would fall to the depths of wanting to look good.
Jade was caught up in her shopping that she hadn't even realized the girl that had just walked into the store. She bumped into her with great force, causing her jeans to go flying out of her hands. "Oh crap!" She hastily bent down to pick up the jeans and looked at the poor, innocent girl. "Oh my gosh, I'm sorry I didn't see you there! I'm so caught up in shopping, I'm in my own little world, I wasn't paying attention. Jeeeez." She gave a little frown and looked up at the girl expecting either a big blow out, or a simple acceptance of Jade's apology.

Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, ( She would tell him But she'd have nothing left to sell him --------------- ! )
She smiled as the girl seemed to accept her apology, Jade knew that if the girl had decided to retaliate that things wouldn't have turned out very pretty. As nice as Jade seemed, she was a whole other person when her anger bomb was fused, but this girl seemed nice enough. She was pretty, with the same style as Jade and a sincere smile. Jade re positioned all her jeans on her arms and stuck out her hand, meeting Ellie's in the middle. "I'm Jade Donnell, nice to meet you." She gave a bright smile and looked around the store, wondering if anyone had seen the embarrassing accident, which of course people had. They were just now starting to walk away or finish up their chuckling. She rolled her eyes and looked at Ellie. "People just can't seem to mind their own damn business, huh?" She shrugged the little annoyance off and realized that Ellie was shopping alone.
"Are you here alone, Ellie?" Jade knew how nice it was to get out and have some alone time to yourself, but she also knew the importance of having friends to go out and shop with and hang out with. Friends weren't exactly at the top of her needed list, but they were definitely there. A person could go crazy without friends to vent to and be themselves around. Jade couldn't imagine having to be locked up in her head all the time, wanting to speak to someone, but having no one to speak to. Gah, the thought was inevitable. Jade liked this Ellie, although she barely knew her, there was just an essence that hung around the woman that Jade seemed to cling to. Who knew, they could become the best of the best shopping buddies, Jade didn't oppose to the thought.
