Full Description:
Long, rib-length hair that will change color constantly. It could be pink one day, and then brown the next, whichever color Jade prefers. Hazel eyes that pop with obnoxious colors, and lips that are feminine, yet seductive. She has a slender body, and is well-toned with legs that could do some real damage.

Disabilities:
Jade has night blindness so she has to wear glasses at night, while she's driving, riding, etc.

Personality:

• OUTSPOKEN* - Jade thinks that it is very important for everyone to know how she feels and what's on her mind. She speaks her opinion with no second thoughts about what she's saying and she's very quick to stand up for herself when she needs to. She doesn't like to be put down, and will openly express her feelings whenever she feels the need to.
  
• OBNOXIOUS* - Jade is a very happy go-lucky person 90% of the time and is always up to have a good time. She can be very loud and overly ecstatic, but most people find it humorous to watch Jade make a fool of herself in front of many people. She is what you would define as a party-girl, who thinks she is friends with basically anyone and will talk to anyone she sees fit.
  
• COMPETITIVE* - Jade probably has one of the most competitive personalities out there, and if she's not the most competitive she's at least in the Top 10. When it comes to competition, Jade will give it her every and her all. She trains as hard as she can, but is very careful of overworking her horses, but besides training her horses, she also trains herself mentally and physically to ensure she's in the best shape possible for when competition season rolls around. She's a very sore loser, and will hold the grudge until she beats you.
  
• ANIMAL-LOVER* - Animals have been in Jade's life since she was a little girl, and so she grew up loving all types of animals. Of course, horses were her favorite. Dogs also played a big part in her life, seeing as she grew up on a tiny ranch where dogs were very helpful during the day. She volunteers frequently at shelters, trying to find good animals great homes.
  
• GREAT FRIEND* - Even though Jade's traits might clash with many people, she is an amazing friend once you can get past all the obvious flaws. She is the kind of girl that will always have your back no matter what, and will stand up for you when she feels the need to. She's very protective of the ones she loves and cares about and will get in anyone's face if need be. She'll take you shopping and basically treat you like you're family if you're her friend.
  
• NEAT* - Jade is a tidy and well-kept person. She keeps herself very clean as well as keeping all of her surroundings clean and sparkly. She supposes that you could suggest that she's borderline a bit of a neat freak, but there's nothing wrong with needing to be clean.

History:
Jade has had a very rough past since she was very young. Her parents were divorced when she was around ten years old and she was put in the middle of the brutal custody battle that her parents fought out over her. Neither of them gained custody, seeing that her mother was a known drug addict and her father and abusive and arrogant jerk who was known to lay his hands on his family. Instead, custody went to her grandparents who raised her with more love and care then her parents ever could have.

Her grandparents lived in the country, on a tiny little ranch called Reaching Hearts. Jade couldn't really understand the purpose of naming the ranch this, but she would come to find out very soon why they did. Her first day arriving, her breath was taken away by all the beautiful pastures and the cute, little, red barn that stood right smack dab in the middle of the property. Jade had loved horses since she was little and had always dreamed of living on a ranch, surrounded by the beautiful creatures - and now here she was today, standing just a couple yards from a barn full of them.

Jade never fully understood why her grandparents did this, but she guessed the most she could. Her grandparents rescued abandoned and damaged horses, rehabilitating them into a loving life they forgot they had, or had never known. It was a business that touched many peoples hearts and gained them great respect for doing so. Jade was taught the ways of the horse, she was taught how to read them and how to know when they would become violent or aggressive. She was quickly accepted into the family business and all of their clients.

One morning, Jade was in the barn mucking out the stalls when her grandpa came to the entrance of the barn door. He told her of a horse that they had just taken in, a horse who was very damaged and broken from being abused, but was known to be a natural jumper. Jade took interest immediately, and decided to take him when he arrived to Reaching Hearts. He arrived a couple hours later, kicking and thrashing all around the trailer. Jade went to the window and peered in, amazed at this beautiful bay boy. She looked him over intently, noticing how heavily he was sweating and how upset he was just by being in the trailer alone. She walked to the back and they opened the gates and he darted out of the trailer doors nearly running his chauffeur over.

It took months for the gelding to allow Jade to even get close to him and touch him, but eventually she gained his trust. She named him Zeus for he demanded the most from her and he was strong and absolutely brilliant. When Jade had taken Zeus into her care she had never imagined that she would bond with him as closely as she did. After a year and a half, the two were inseparable, it was a bond that Jade had never had with any other horse, but a bond that her grandpa had warned her of. Jade begged her grandpa to buy Zeus, and he reluctantly agreed knowing that he was probably the best thing for his grand daughter. Jade and Zeus became a famous pair in her little town, winning jumping competitions left and right, but have never tried a national jumping thing, so Jade decided to take Zeus on an adventure, where she ended up here.

Personality: Zeus is protective over Jade and is very cautious of new people due to his past. He's a sweet and loving boy, but only when Jade is nearby. If Jade is no where in sight or he can't smell her, he is completely unsocial. He'll sit in the back of his stall with his butt turned toward you and not even acknowledge you if he has no idea who you are. He trusts very little and is a bit tricky to ride, seeing as he is a brilliant boy and knows many different ways to get even the best rider off his back. In the pasture, he is the boss. He bosses everyone around and flirts with all the mares while frolicking around like a yearling. He's a hard working gelding and when he is under the saddle he is an amazing boy, with a great attitude and a want to learn and listen. All he wants to do is please, but the trust issue is a big block in the road for him.

Other:
Mm, sure... I have a 7 year old Quarter Horse mare named Honey who I am just starting to train for competing in hunter jumper events! She's also a barrel racer and one helluva horse. And she is also the main reason why I will probably never get another mare, so moody and so emotional, but then again I love that because I never know what to expect with her. My parents also just acquired a 9 year old Appaloosa named Cooper who is the sweetest boy you could ever meet. He's a great horse for beginners (which my parents are) and he is just so careful and cautious. He has his little quirks, but doesn't every horse?

I've been riding since I was 8 years old, and I've been in love with horses since I was basically born. They've always been my favorite and I always say that Honey would be the only thing in my life I would never give up, if I was forced to give up anything. She's my first horse, and I get to grow old with her so that alone just excites me to no end ^.^
