Full Description:
The first thing you will notice about Harley is that he isn’t all that big height-wise. He stands at roughly 5’8, but it doesn’t bother him. He doesn’t mind being small compared to other males. Harley’s hair is a light shade of brown and is usually in some unkempt fashion, looking either windswept or just having got out of bed. His eyes are a dark hazel with a dark ring around the outside of the iris, and in certain lighting, the hazel appears a lighter shade of grey. His has a good bit of muscle on him and is quite strong for his size, but not overly so – just enough to be noticeable. Harley’s skin naturally keeps a nice light tan all year long, and on the underside of his arms and along his belly, there are thin, light pink scars from when he ran into a barbed wire fence.

While his left eye is fine, his right eye has horrible vision.

Personality:
Unlike Riddle, Harley is very outgoing. He isn’t afraid to speak his mind over anything, though if he has negative opinions, he mumbles them quietly to himself but will gladly repeat it louder if anyone asks him to. The boy can come off as being quite obnoxious, but he has good intentions. He doesn’t like to be nosy, but he can’t help it. He likes to know who is doing what, who’s with who, and what’s happening downtown that night – quite the gossiper. Even though he likes to be in on the know, Harley is serious when it comes to secrets; he believes in a person’s word and therefore stays true to his word. If he promises or swears to do something, you can consider it already done. Because of this, he believes everything that people tell him, and this keeps him on the verge of being considered gullible.

History:
John Buchanan traveled to Wick in search of a job opportunity in the fishing industry, and after nearly a year, he met a teacher by the name of Emily Fraser. They dated for three years until he finally popped the question, and they were married soon after.

Both of them worked hard in their jobs until Emily became pregnant with Harley after about the first year of their marriage. John then tried to pick up more hours and business to fill in the gap when his son was born, but it wore down on him quickly. Emily helped him through it and they both took an active role in Harley’s life from an early start. They spoiled him rotten, but they were strict in teaching him to be humble and to know what’s right and wrong. Harley grew up a happy and privileged child and only more joy came when his sister Lily was born.

When Harley was fourteen, the Fraser-Buchanan family moved to Harrisbury, living with John’s sister, who had a small barn. Harley instantly took curiously to the horses, wanting to learn to ride and eager for any time he could get in the saddle. His aunt began teaching him and he also watched as she trained Riddle, the young colt he was. As Harley matured, he was able to help out more and more around the barn, and when he was sixteen, his aunt had Riddle moved to the Foxtail Creek Stables so he could pursue his equestrian dream, and he is ever so thankful to his aunt for that.

Personality: Riddle is quite calm. He doesn’t mind children crawling all over him, poking him or kissing his nose, but he’s certainly a diva when it comes to his personal space with other horses. He doesn’t like horses riding his rear or passing him on trails. Riddle will, however, follow others so closely that his nose brushes the leader’s tail, which has gotten him quite a few kicks. His worst habit is that when he is stung by a bee he tends to buck, but he’s slowly working out of that.
